While in the early nineties I was pursuing my hobby of photographing people of pioneer villages, I met other people whose hobby was living history. They were portraying a period of time and presenting it to the public as historically accurate as possible by researching the facts.
I learned about the French Indian War, the American Revolution, the War of 1812 and the American Civil War just by going to the various reenactments.
The people were friendly and willing to talk about the battle they were reenacting and explain about the persona they were portraying.
The photographs in my gallery give you a feeling of how the wars were fought then and how much integrity these people had in presenting them to us.
