Precambrians II, is a photographic collection of rock portraits from the many road cuts of Muskoka and Parry Sound districts, which convey the impression of being painted. The images reveal how the various colours of rocks were mixed, folded, cracked and compressed under extreme heat and pressure. The added surface textures during road construction and new colours through weathering give these Precambrian Shield rocks a unique visual dimension.
